Mizpah Hotel

Wonderful hotel! Super friendly staff, beautiful lobby and lounge area, amazing bar, very nice rooms, extremely comfortable bed AND PILLOWS (so many hotels these days can’t seem to get the pillows “right” but these were awesome), fantastic FIVE STAR food AND a coffee shop that opens nice and early. What a great place to stay. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Made a drive from Utah just for the experience and boy did it not disappoint. First night I was sleeping in room 507 and felt someone playing with my hair, then later had a big bit of sleep paralysis. Kinda strange but night two is where it got interesting. We did the guided tour and though it was fun we didn’t experience anything during the tour. Later that night, we were sitting in the common area around the 500 rooms, when my husband felt a really eerie feeling giving him goose bumps and leaving him rattled. We later caught multiple photos of the spirit in orbit/mist form. I managed to catch something holding my husband's hand, right by the lady in red’s room. After that, we caught another in our room. It was an amazing time. We would visit again!

This hotel is a gem in the middle of the desert. Or better: a silver ore. . The owners have kept the vibes and the appearance as the original one of the 1907. The hotel has great charm and the rooms are clean and the beds very comfy. I really liked the idea of the "Mizpah Review" to present the hotel and the story of Tonopah and goldfield. I loved it! I'll be back.

My wife and I pulled into Tonopah and found the Mizpah on Google and decided to spend the night. Upon checking in at the front desk, we realized the very colorful history of this hotel and of the resident spirit on the fifth floor. I was honestly a little bit nervous because I’m not a huge ghost fan, but we got a room on the fourth floor and had a very pleasant evening and a good nights sleep. We had dinner in the bar, enjoyed a really good steak and a couple of nice drinks before turning in for the evening. Our room was a tad bit small but impeccably clean and cozy for my wife and I. We heard a little bit of interesting noises in the middle of the night, but no spooky situations presented themselves.

I love how they kept this hotel old school but with upgraded amenities. Sadly, we were able to try the Dempsey dining room.As it was martin luther king day and everything was closed. Great shower pressure & loved the claw foot tub where you can actually stretch out!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! We only stayed for one night, but wished we stayed more. Each staff member was wonderful to work with that we encountered, but the woman that helped us check in was beyond amazing! She was super friendly and helpful. Her costumer service was beyond appreciated and she provided one of the best check-in/assistance from a front desk employee we've experienced! She was absolutely a joy to work with!

Perfect stop between Reno and Vegas. Had dinner at The Jack Dempsey Room and it was great. Our room was spacious and charming. We’ll definitely stop here again if we ever do the drive again!

Staying at the mizpah is a nice experience. I was in it for the claw foot tub and being able to soak the day away. The room is simple but clean. The mattress is on the firm side which for me isn't ideal but it's not enough to make not come back. The bar was top tier. I had a couple wonderful old fashions along with a burger for dinner, the garlic fries are delicious and the perfect pairing with the burger. While I didn't take any pictures this stay I'll be sure to take some next time and update my review because I will certainly be staying here again.
